HEY YE"ALL!

Thanks for following my blog! I have placed a Youtube Video Bar on the side, for those of you whose ears bleed from the musical stylings of Taylor Swift. And no worries-there's a pause button for that. I've got your back amigo/a!

While I repeatedly stumble, rejoice, and gangster-dance through life, many a times I will encounter an experience which knocks my footies off. It is during those precious moments when I need to translate my priceless thoughts into flourous shibbolith! (-words of passion) So thankyou blogger.com! Oh, and FYI my precious reader, you are welcome to read whatever gladdens your eyes.

P.S. If my readers desire to sob and giggle unceasingly over precious perrito pics they are welcome to as many as their emotions can handle. :D ~Love, Peace, Chicken Grease.

Why Scripture Reading is Muy Importante:
God wants me to be diligent in His commandments. There's a right way to live and be happy, it is choosing the right everyday. If I'm learning the teachings of Jesus, He will help me and show me the way! Ding Ding! This is primary song I was thinkin of today. If I try my best to always do what is right then I will not be so tempted to do wrong. My life will not have the space or time for it! The scriptures are historical, a guide, action packed, and entertaining! While I read scripture everyday, I notice the improvement and the joy which is added to my life.

I read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte and it taught me many principles I just love this book! She may be utterly plain, but she is such a good person. If Jane were real she'd probably be brought right up to heaven before she died! Perfecto!

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
"1:To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2:A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3:A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4: A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5:A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6:A time to get, and a time lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7:A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8:A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."

Outing to Canyon

We all needed an outing. What better place is there to go than the beyond gorgeous canyon with perfect weather to go along? The family walks way too fast! Jenny and I were left behind on most of the walk. No matter, we took plenty of hilarious + sweet + pretty pics=awesome time and smiles on our faces! :D I'll share some of the best pictures we took with my bodacious friends!
I got a FREE haircut that day! Is that a uno-brow?

Those glasses are hot!

Momma and Amy-poo! Oh I love them so!
What a flower!
This spot is so beautiful, but if that river floods... Siah-nara cute-ta-cious houses!

Ohh! (the glasses) I found this slice of goodness on the sidewalk in front of our car! Yes!

cool flower!..

We had a great time!  Great lighting! -until it became utterly dark! Arg. haha!
Tootaloo!

Girls Camp Update

PUSHING UP THE DAISIESImage by k.barker via Flickr

Wow! Girls Camp turned out SO fantastic! I got closer to the YW and had did everything I was supposed to do which made it all the better! The early morning sunrise hike was fantastico! Everyday I did PJ'S like I was supposed to (PJ'S: Prayer, Journal, and Scripture study) and I sung in the mountains! Everything echoes up at Shalom-so of course everyone could hear me, but they just thought it was funny! hahah! I only stayed there for 3 days, but those three days changed my life.
I gave a talk last Sunday on the 11th of July. The gist of what I said is in the post, "What prayer means to me". I wanted to write it on here because writing here helps me to think and put down whats in my large brain. What changed me at girls camp? PJ'S and the YW. It was  just a great experience. Maybe I cannot pinpoint exactly what affected me. All I know is, I am a different person now and something at girls camp made it happen.

Chuck-A-Rama Fiesta!

My brother and I went to the fabulous Chuck-A-Rama! It was incredibly delicious! Ohhh They had everything I wanted! I enjoy Chuck more than Golden Corral. Chuck has better quality food, more delicious food, and very attractive man waiters. Jason and I were being SO loud -luckily we were in the back... haha.

Here's what happened. Jason shoots water at me through his straw; I shove a piece of spinach down his tunic. Jason finally discovers the spinach and throws it... INTO THE OTHER BOOTH! We immediately hide our heads and laugh at each other from across the table! It was HIL-AIR-I-OUS! hahah! Jason also threw a BIZZILLION spit-balls at my drop-dead-gorgeous face! In fact, he is actually a very accurate aimer... (to more important matters) There was this total-model waiter, he was totally looking at me and smiling a ton. He either thought I was funny but immature + embarrassing or utterly attractive. Wow, he had a really nice body and face, but I didn't ever hear his voice-darn. It was probably angelic-like him. *sigh*
Well, we ate like intoxicated monkeys and we did love every moment!

And the best part of this wonderful excursion is Mama Chalata paid for us to go! Awesome possum eh? indeed so! My parents went to spend a TUCANOS lunch with my Grandma and Grandpa.
I have to say once more because it was so funny the first time: we ate like intoxicated monkeys and we did love every moment!
I love the Fab Dab quote: Live in the moment, make it so special, it will be Unforgettable.  Ding!
Toot-ta-loo my darlings!

What prayer means to me

There have been times in my life when prayer has given me the comfort that no person could. When I pray faithfully, worthily and with real intent, there are many times where I can't help myself to cry in remorse or of happiness! I know for sure of something, I feel immeadite sympathy from one who loves, understands, and knows me. Me, one who is lost in the world, one who understands the gospel and still strays from the path of righteousness. He understands my grief and my joys. He is my eternal father in heaven. I love my earthly father SO much! I cannot immagine how much I will love my Father in heaven when I meet him face to face. "God said, Draw near to me, and I will draw near unto you." He accepts us for who we are and He wants nothing more than to guide us through this wicked world as a light on the hill. Heavenly Father wants us to enjoy true happiness. We can ask for his help and guidence and much more, if we let him. How do I let him guide me through this world that is ripening in iniquity?
Humility
Patience
Faith
Belief
Knowlege
Ponder
Obedience
Repentance
I want to focus right now on Humility, I stuggle with Pride.
How do I get rid of Pride and be humble for the rest of my life?
(Doing so will allow God to work through me and also show me ways to have true joy)
-remember that we are all human, we are not better or worse than any other person
-Be patient with people who have a plethora of pride
-Spend significant time talking with people that you feel are "below you", realize that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, begin to love them as you love yourself
-Say hello to everyone who passes you and realize that every one of god's children and they are all his VIP's (God is no respecter of specific persons)
-read scriptures daily to show god that you require his help to successfully travel through life
-Pray to him and share with him and thank him -for he has created all things that you love (and all things that improove your character.

I wanted to write about this because prayer is a vital part of my life. A part of which I am most deeply greatful for.
